Cool. I love Izzy. Years ago a friend of a friend used to babysit for a kid called Isidore. Can't remember what his sister was called.

OMG wetness! Isidore is an Obscure Gem of a Name that has it all - class, classicness, Rich History, a spunky nickname, quirkiness, handsomeness, internationality, religious ambiguity ... but it's not trendy and nobody else is using it. It's the perfect ... uh, like, the perfect trademark. Of course a hottie with a big brain would name his spawn it.

I love, I mean LOVE Isidore. It's been my second favorite name for a boy for a very long time. I would love to meet a little boy named Isidore.

One of my friends has a 1 year old named Isidora (mn Perpetua!), also called Izzy. :)

It's a not-uncommon name where I live.
It's even a place-name..Saint Isidore.

My oldest son has a team mate named Isidore. He is 8! I was excited when I heard his name too. He goes by his full name though which I like better that Izzy, but Izzy is cute.

That's is freaking amazing.

Oh I love Isidore, even though I prefer Isidor since it's a family name. My grandma's brother has it has is MN, and his father (and pretty much all of his siblings)... If I ever have a son, he will have Isidor as a MN ;P
