Amber
Let's not forget a couple of facts that have not been adressed so far: 1) Amber comes down from Greek myth form a norse derivative about the Heliades, sister's of Peliades, who were so distraught about there brother's death that they turned themselves to poplars and wept golden tears of Amber; truly an empathrtic quality, and 2) tree sap is the "blood of trees", trees "inhale" CO2 and "exhale" oxygen thereby providing life to us all. Therefore Amber is an empathetic being that provides life. A pretty wonderful combination if you ask me.

Those stories are kind of cool but I still dislike Amber as a name. It's propably because it's so popular and in a way has become trashy in my mind. I don't know why. Sorry I just can't like it but I do think Amberlyn is almost pretty. WDYT?Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Wrong board, no replies here thanksYour post would be more appropriate on the Facts board. However, before you re-post there, please note that while the facts you have provided are interesting, they are associations not meanings. The meaning of Amber is 'amber' only.
