Arthur and Constantine.
Hubby and I were talking names, and he surprised me with these two. We can't use Arthur, but we might use Constantine as a middle name. What do you guys think of the names? Any suggestions?

Arthur is nice! I've known lots of Constantines, all of them somewhat Greek and all but one known as Dino; the exception was a Con. I'd enjoy it with a really English ln like Higgins or Wilson.

They're cool. Arthur I've had trouble warming up to, but it makes me think of Schopenhauer, and if a name has an association with philosophy, I'll like it more. Constantine is pure awesomeness and goes with lots of FNs.

Aw, why can't you use Arthur? Arthur and Constantine would be super greats as brothers.constantine is fun. I once had a university classmate who had a little son named Constantine. It's a very impressive name, very dynamic and strong. What about something liiiikeVictor Constantine
Henry Constantine
John Constantine (that one is quite nice, I think the possibility of a "Johnny Constantine" is rather nifty, he sounds like a comic book hero)
Julian Constantine
Leo Constantine
Milo Constantine
Alexander Constantine
Alasdair Constantine
Hugh Constantine
Edward Constantine
Oscar Constantine (Pow! now that's a name that'll kick ya in the teeth)
Roger Constantine (sorry I am a little smitten with Roger at the moment and I'm in that phase where I think it looks good with anything)
Sebastian Constantine (a litte frilly, but still nice)

Grandpa's name.My mom does not get along with him and I just couldn't use it. End of story. And John Constantine is a comic book hero. :-D This would be the reason my hubby likes the name. :-D
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Constantine I love Edward, Oscar, Milo, Henry, and Victor. Julian Constantine is one that my hubby could get behind, so thanks!

ah, say no more. It's the same with my family and the name Bernard. I think the name Bernard/Bernie is actually super cute and charming, but due to associations it is just never gonna happen. No kiddin' about the John Constantine thing, man, I even saw that movie and it didn't click. Right on.

I have always loved Arthur, but Constantine was never one I liked. Not sure why. It's a little much for me.
