Re: Cosmo
I think it's got some definite pizazz--Cosmo is short and fun to say. Unfortunately, I associate it with so many not-so-positive (not necessarily negative) things that I'd never use it myself.Firstly, there's Cosmopolitan Magazine, better known as Cosmo. It's the women's version of Maxim--silly, semi-smutty fun, with articles like "50 Ways to Leave Him Screaming for More." Then, there's Cosmo Kramer, the nut on Seinfeld; I like him (and can relate to him a LOT, hehe), and so this one doesn't bother me at all. Finally, there's Cosmo of one of my least favourite shows ever, The Fairly Odd Parents. He's the "amusingly" stupid one and annoys the pants off me. This, actually, is the association that bothers me most. I want to scream when my little sister puts the show on.Because of Cosmo 'n' Wanda of The Fairly Odd Parents, I'd be extremely wary about using the name in the US. However, you're in Scotland, and perhaps you're safe from the idiocy of that show. If so, I'd give it the thumbs-up. Cosmo Reuben sounds very nice to me, too--I do love Reuben. :DArray
