I actually quite like it and love the fact that it means lovable. I love all the combos you have listed and would actually use some of the names you have as mn's as sib's names. I love: Mabel Sophia, Ruby Elizabeth, Clara Phoebe and Lucy VioletMabel Ruby, Jude Silas, Harry Oliver and Leo Barnaby

I am not crazy about it. I know an adorable baby Mabel (Mabel Virginia) and I still think it's kind of an ugly name. I and everyone I know pronounce it "MAYB-ul," not "MAY-bell" which I guess is prettier. The Mabel I know has a big brother named Abram John. I like Abram, but Abram & Mabel rhyme too much for my taste since both contain "abe" sounds. What I love about Mabel is that you can justify the nickname "Maeby" as in the character from Arrested Development.

I like the name Mabel; it was my late grandma's name. Her name combo was Mabel Maxine. (one I like, but you be hesitant to use because it was already used in the family)

I heart Mabel. Mabel Caroline is my combo of choice, but Mabel Ruby, Mabel Violet and Mabel Sophia are also very nice (Mabel Sophie I think would be just a touch lighter and more Mabel-friendly)I'd pair Mabel with similar old-fashioned and gentle siblings.Mabel and (I can't pick just three each, I'll let you do that):Emmett
