Caroline I feel is dated, but if you have some kind of connection to it, then go ahead because there's nothing *wrong* with it. It's just passed its prime.

I like Esmé, but only spelled Esmée, which is the feminine form of the name. I also think it just looks prettier with two Es on the end.

As much as I love Eve [I love Esme too though, and, though I know the Esmee spelling is correct, I prefer only one e... it looks tidier], I think Nina and Esmé sound better as sisters.

Nina and Esmé are gorgeous together, and I have no idea what the flow issue is... I don't hear anything off in Esmé Caroline. Please use it, especially if you love it.

We have thought about the masculine é but wanted to keep the 4 letter spelling. I realize Esme Caroline is a bit choppy but 2 names I love. We want to keep the 'E' name and short spelling but not overly popular. So you See my dilemma.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Esme! (with the accent over the e) It's my #1 favorite and has been for a few years! Nina is very pretty too!

Esmé Caroline is pretty. I think it sounds nice with Nina Victoria.

It's not a bad name, but really the only thing I like about it is Caroline. I don't like Esme, it bothers me that it ends with the masculine -é instead of the feminine -ée, and it doesn't go with Nina at all. But I could gush over Nina Victoria-- so adorable!

I like both names individually (though I prefer the spelling Esmee), but I don't think Esme Caroline flows all that well. I don't want to suggest other names because the names are beautiful and I don't want you to second guess a lovely choice.

Esmé is nice but I don't like Caroline. I would prefer Esmeralda Carolina or Esmeralda Caroline, with the nn Esmé.
