Re: Simon
I know umpteen Simons and they range from short, sharp, ginger and football-loving (my funny cousin) to tall, dark, prettily Byronic and slightly dim (pal from art college, so gorgeous and so very clueless!). I used to think it was pretty boring, but it's really grown on me lately, too, and I think I'd use it. It's a friendly sort of name. I'm always surprised it's not used much across the pond, being biblical and all.All your combos work for me. Particularly liking Simon Geoffrey for some reason, and I'm chuffed to see Simon Rupert.

I'm chuffed that you said "chuffed". What an awesome word. I wish I was British. Rupert really is one of the most excellent names around. I also wish I could have hooked up with the prettily Byronic, artsy and dim-witted Simon. We could have had beautiful babies and named them all Simon, after their dad.
