You may prefer Camilla, but Kamila is totally legitimate / the norm in some non-English speaking countries. It is hardly Kardashian territory.

Yeah, but being American, it still looks ugly, as do some other traditional names that start with K's...Kornelia (looks too 'korny with a k'), Kristopher (I once encountered a sibset of Richmond IV and Kristopher Ryan...hated the difference of traditional vs. modern there), Kristian, Kristen (although I have nothing against Kristina). My cousins are named Kyle and Kelly, and I dislike those too. As you can see, there aren't that many 'k' names that I actually like. The exceptions are:
Kenneth
Katherine/Katharina (and the nicknames Kathy, Kate, and Katja)
Kurt (family name)
Killian
Keane
Keenan
And maybe Klara.
