You may prefer Camilla, but Kamila is totally legitimate / the norm in some non-English speaking countries. It is hardly Kardashian territory. I love Penelope Jane to bits. Some great combos here.

Yeah, but being American, it still looks ugly, as do some other traditional names that start with K's...Kornelia (looks too 'korny with a k'), Kristopher (I once encountered a sibset of Richmond IV and Kristopher Ryan...hated the difference of traditional vs. modern there), Kristian, Kristen (although I have nothing against Kristina). My cousins are named Kyle and Kelly, and I dislike those too. As you can see, there aren't that many 'k' names that I actually like. The exceptions are:
Kenneth
Katherine/Katharina (and the nicknames Kathy, Kate, and Katja)
Kurt (family name)
Killian
Keane
Keenan
And maybe Klara.
