I think Joanna is a simply lovely name! It's so pretty and feminine!
Dinah is alright, not one of favorites but then in general D names aren't my favorite. I reminds me first of Dinah in the Bible (and I think there was some sexual scandal related to her), and then it makes me think of a kind, gradmotherly, African-American southern lady. So the name has good and bad connections for me. I always get it mixed up with Delilah which I also dislike because of the character of the woman with this name in the Bible. Isn't it funny how one bad accossiation could ruin the whole image of a name in your mind (take Adolph for example, almost everyone thinks of Adolph Hitler).
