Lion, eagle and brave

Yes, I like the meanings and the name itself.
Only drawback is that people might think Ari is short for a longer name. Or even short for a female name. I have gathered that the culture is very macho in USA; therefore parents are afraid of giving their sons any name which is even remotly girly-sounding (these are the best boy's names imo).
Arvid (eagle tree) is popular in Sweden, though I think few think of the meaning.
"You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."
"It does not become me to make myself smaller than I am." (Edith Södergran 1891-1923)
