Ayelet
I've recently come across the name Ayelet, and I'd like to know your thoughts on it.
Gender: Feminine
Usage: Hebrew
Other Scripts: àÇéÆìÆú (Hebrew)
Means "gazelle". It is taken from the Hebrew phrase àÇéÆìÆú äÇùÑÇçÇø ('ayelet hashachar), literally "gazelle of dawn", which is a name of the morning star.
Personally, this name reminds me a lot of Violet. Which do you like better - Ayelet or Violet?

I'd probably like it if I didn't have a negative personal association with it. It's true it's a bit similar-sounding to Violet, but the names give fairly different vibes to me.
I like Ayelet better. Less popular, better meaning, looks nicer, more history....
Old favorite that I go in and out of love with. Not something I would use but something I'd love to see on someone else.
Definitely Ayelet. It's got so much spunk! I love it.
Love it, but would/could never use.
I think it looks nice but it's nothing I would use.
It sort of reminds me of the word "islet." Not my style.
Or eyelet
