Do you think that Nola could work as a nickname for Eleanor? My husband and I are pretty much set on Eleanor, as it honors his mother, but we're looking for a good nickname. Ella is too popular, we don't like Nora very much, and Nell sounds horrible with our surname, so we thought we'd get a little creative. I know we can pretty much call our daughter whatever we like, but we would like her nickname to at least seem like it was derived from her full name.
