Re: Chandler

Meh...I used to be fonder of Chandler. I'm iffy about it now, but I wouldn't be too bothered to see it.
I've met two Chandlers: there is a female Chandler who I have gone to school with--she was born before 'Friends' made the name popular. I also met a little boy named Chandler who is probably around 7 or 8 now.
I wouldn't say the name is dated to the 90s, as I don't think the name made much of an impact in the charts...just the show happened to be very popular. I think Chandler's more of a 2000s name for two reasons: one, the kids who used to watch the show are starting to have babies now and are aware of the name; secondly, it follows the occupation surname trend that is very popular now but not in the 90s.

Well, I thought so because it peaked in the 90s. It was number 100-something while FRIENDS was at its height of popularity but is almost number 500 now.
