I think this gives you a pretty accurate view of the trends at the moment. The names are short, the syllabes "aé" "ou" are very popular, along with the endings in "an", "lan" and "lyne" and "lys". American, Breton or Spanish-sounding names are also quite trendy for boys (how many Enzo, Matteo, Killian...)
Often a little too cutesy for my liking and I'm starting to be tired of the Lilou/Lily-Rose/Louane stuff. But apparently some old fashioned name are coming back too!

Oh yes, ditto about Clovis. And despite its historical background, it's still totally usable, whithout sounding pretentious or ridiculous.
Maëva is the only mae name I still like, and yet I think Mareva is an even better alternative.

More traditional
Actually, there were a few of them but they were a minority and since I didn't want to put everything, I made a selection of what was most representative.
I'll add a few ones more.

Thanks.
I really like...
Margot
Clémence
Mathilde
Tristan
Anne-Rose
Laëtitia
It's the old names that make my day. I'm under the weather today, so my heart leaps with joy when I see names like Clemence and Laetitia, and of course (from the original list) Jean-Pierre. Makes me feel just a little better.
