I actually know a couple of just Millies as well.

I think it's charming, but not substantial enough for a full name. I like it as a nickname for Millicent, Romilly, Camilla and possibly Amelia.

I don't exactly love Millie but I'd much rather see it as a nn for Amelia, Emilia / Emily or Camilla / Camille rather than Mildred or Millicent. BTW, I've been researching my family tree recently and came across an Amelia (nn Millie).

I think it's adorable, but I can really only see it on a little girl or used affectionately by family.

It's very cute, and there are many names it could be a good nn for: Milla, Camilla, Millicent, Mildred, Mildrith (though I wouldn't recommend the latter two).

It's very popular where I live. It's cute, but insubstantial IMO, better as a nickname for something else.

Millie is not good for official name. You conceived of 50th years old woman which is fat :-D

Count me as one of the people who will never understand the appeal to this name. I think it's cutesy and hopelessly old-fashioned; not one of my favorites.

I like it as a nickname. As a full name, definitely not.

I love it, spelled both Millie and Milly. I slightly prefer Milly.

However, I only like Millie as a nickname, whereas I like Milly as either a nickname or given name. (Maybe it's because I'm used to Molly as a given name and Milly is just one letter off that I'm okay with it as a given name.)

It's ok as a nickname. But it's insubstantial as a full name, in my opinion.

I think Millie is adorable. It's great on its own, but I also really like it as a nickname for Millicent.
