Just found out: she actually spells it Shannaya

I don't like Shania too much. It reminds me of Shania Twain. I'd pronounce it sha-NYE-ah. I've never met anyone with this name. Being Jewish, I much prefer Shaina/Shayna seeing as I know so many.

I think Shania is a beautiful name. I am surprised more people don't use it

Since I hate Shania Twain, I can't get behind this name. I hate her and her music so much, I would cringe if I were ever to meet a Shania in real life.

Yes it makes me think of Shania Twain. It also makes me think slightly of myself, because whenever someone looks at my middle name, they suddenly develop dyslexia and pronounce it Sha-nye-ah (I've never heard anyone pronounce it differently)
