Maple

No way, in a poem?!
By Robert Frost too! Awesome.
I like it. I love the sound and the feeling I get with it. Crisp autumn skies and warm, honey-think sweetness. Mmm. Pancakes.
I don't think it's too "out there", but then, i have strange taste in names. I'd probably pair it with something more "traditional", but still "fun", or different like:
Maple Emmeline
Maple Kate
Maple Eleanor
Maple Eliza
Maple Norah
Maple Bettina
Maple Thomasina
Maple Winifred

I'm not a fan of Maple. But I have to admit that Maple Winifred really works as a combo.
I don't like Maple. The sugary-sweet sexual inuendos would be too easy.
I do love Mabel, though.

ditto
I'd never use it. Reminds me of maple syrup and of the fusty name Mabel.
I like it
Indeed because of the R. Frost poem! Glad to find someone else who likes it. I imagine a tall, thin, slightly eccentric girl. But I probably wouldn't have the nerve to use it as a first name, but it would make a cool middle name.

Giselle Maple

Anita Maple
Heloise Maple

Maple syrup and maple leaf, come to mind immediately. Could cause alot of teasing.
I like it more than Mabel. Very warm and friendly.
No, I don't think it's too "out there." It's a nature name, but it's simple.
Maple Elisabeth
Maple Olivia
Maple Irene
Maple Vivienne
Maple Michelle
Maple Genevieve
Maple Deirdre
Maple Victoria
Maple Susannah
Maple Clementine
Maple Ruth
Maple Joanne
Maple Fay

Impractical. Way too close to Mabel (which is lovely). She'd spend her entire life explaining. And, yes, it is too out there, not to mention too syrupy.
