Re: Sunny?

Some names listed on the site with *sun* in them: Assunçäo, Assunta, Asun, Asunción, Aysun, Josune, Sunday, Sunita, Sunitha, Suniti, Sunngifu, Sunnifa, Sunniva, Sunshine.
I can also think of Sundown and Sunrise, though those sound slightly 'hippyish'.
I'm not a huge fan of the name Sunniva, but I wouldn't mind seeing it on someone else's child.

Sunday is a great idea. :-)
Oh, I can overlook anything if I love a name enough.
When I meet an April I don't wonder if she was born in April or not. It just doesn't even register in my mind. The same with a male Noel -- I think, "Wow. What a great name."
But I take your point. It makes me think of the Elton John lyric about a child named Easter born on a Tuesday -- or something like that.
On balance, I say go for it if you really love it. Sunday morning with a cup of coffee, the Times crossword puzzle and the radio gently playing in the background is a state of mind, not merely a unit of time. (I'm so full of *&^%)
