Aza and Henry
Hello all! My SO and I are expecting our first baby in November and are still deciding on a name. Since we're waiting to be surprised on the baby's gender, we're choosing a name for each. So far we've narrowed it down to Aza for a girl. The boy's name must have Henry in it somewhere, though we can't decide if we like it better as a first or middle name.
These are some combos we're considering:
Aza Seraphina
Aza Evangeline
Aza Clementine
Aza Blythe
Aza Katherine
Henry Alcides
Henry Gabriel
Henry Cache
Henry Kaiis
Gabriel Henry
Elias Henry
Cache Henry
Zeb Henry
Max Henry
Trace Henry
Dax Henry
I welcome any suggestions! We're having a difficult time choosing. If Henry is the first name then I'd prefer an unusual middle name. If Henry is the middle name then the first should be uncommon but not necessarily unusual.
Thanks in advance!

I think Henry should definitely be a middle name. Aza and Henry sound like the adventures of a boy from the 1950's and his homemade robot. They are both wonderful names, but do not compliment each other at all.
So, that being said, I like:
Zeb Henry (short for Zebedee or Zebediah?)
Dax Henry (although, Dax and Aza sound like the adventures of two robots)
and for other ideas, what about:
November Henry (I love this idea, it's so romantic looking)
Ebenezer Henry (you seem like the type that would appreciate this name's beauty and charm!)
Tobias Henry

Aza Clementine is a lovely combo. I'm not sure about Aza though. For some reason it seems a little masculine, possibly because it's so close to Asa. Aza could also be a nice nickname for Azra or Azara.
Henry is adorable and I think it's a great first name. What about Henry November? November for a boy is a huge gp of mine, I just had to suggest it ;)
Other suggestions: (sorry if they're too weird)
Henry Aloysius
Henry Zacchaeus
Henry Orion
Henry Wolf
Henry Amadeus
Henry Somerset
Henry Topaz (topaz is the traditional November birthstone)
Henry Winter
Henry Archer (if he's a Sagittarius)
Henry Tiger-Eye (tiger eye / tiger's eye is also a November birthstone)
Henry Benedict
Henry Ulysses
Henry Matteus
Henry Wilhelm
Henry Remington
Henry Sophus
Henry Esaias
Henry Ludovic
Henry Snow
Henry Caedmon

Aza Clementine is my favorite as well. Henry November is adorable! But my SO would never go for it. We just have good taste. :)
There's some great suggestions here. Thanks for your input!

Aza is not my favorite - is it pronounces az-ah or like Asia?
I like Henry a lot, especially as a first name. Henry Alcides is interesting and I like Henry Gabriel. I prefer unusual names that are actually names, so I'd like names like Henry Ambrose, Henry Neville, Henry Elias or Henry Erasmus better.
I also like Max and Zeb and possibly Dax (prefer Dex) as nicknames.

I pronounce Aza like Ava (but with a z, obviously). I originally thought of it because I liked Ava but it's becoming popular and my last name starts with V so it didn't sound right. Aza is also derived from the Hebrew word "azer" which means helper; I have it tattooed on my wrist and it's an important reminder in my marriage. It's the same root word that Ezra is derived from.
Thanks for the feedback!

Ah - I didn't know that. Thanks!
I like both names. Aza's a great alternative to Ava.
