my high school psych teacher (Lee) and his wife (Andrea) welcomed a daughter last weekend

surname sounds like Connor.

They had another child two years ago, Nathan Michael, but he passed away shortly after his birth.

I like Madelyn spelt Madeleine and love Nathan.

I like the name Madelyn, spelled like this.

It helps cut down on the confusion of the desired pronunciation of Madeline.
