I quite like it. I think it's fine on its own, but Almira, Miranda and Miriam would all work, and maybe Marina.

Mirabelle is nice but so is Mira by it's self

I love Mira, and I think it can stand on its own. Not every name needs a "full" version.

As a nickname, my favorite full name for it is Miriam.

In Spanish it means look.

I prefer Mirna.

It's a great name, and it has great meanings: peace in Slavic languages and sea or ocean in Sanskrit. I pronounce it MEE-rah.

Mira is fine. As a nn of Mirella would be cute.
