I prefer Yasmin (but it makes me think of birth control pill).

Yasmine. I actually prn them differently: Yasmin is YAZ-min while Yasmine is yaz-MEEN. Even if they were prn the same I'd still prefer Yasmine. It looks more elegant, I guess.

Yasmin. Probably because I'm used to it (it's my stepsister's name). But Yasmine has always made me want to pronounce it yaz-MEEN, like Emmeline or Evangeline.

I've always thought Emmeline was prn EH-meh-line. I've been prn it wrong for years. :/

EM-meh-line is correct as are EM-meh-lyn and EM-meh-leen. The name has three standard pronunciations.em-meh-LEEN is the French pr. which I would use for the French spelling, Emeline.

I think it might be one of those ones that's up to the user, I've always said it em-meh-LEEN though.

Yasmin looks masculine, Yasmine looks feminine.

Yasmine looks prettier and more elegant to me than Yasmin. Yasmin is missing something, just like Jasmin.I love Yasmine. I also like Jasmine.
