In the earlier post about Arachne, I immediately thought of Arania (another spider-related name). I like it as a GP, but would never use it.

Sound wise I like Arania better than Arachne. It's still too spidery to actually use it but for a story it would be ok and everyone has their GPs ;)

I like the sound of it, but I have been around Spanish too much to not think spider every time I would hear it. It doesn't help that a guy I work with occasionally sings "La araña pequeñita" ("The Itsy Bitsy Spider"), yes he really sings that.

I like it, but would't use it. I would for a character though.
