Typical Names for Twin Girls Born in 90's
Do you think Alexandra and Samantha (Alex and Sam) are typical enough names for girls born in the mid 90's? I need typical names that have nicknames that don't indicate their gender. Also, do you have combo ideas? Any other suggestions? Don't even bother to suggest Alexandria, though.

Alex and Sam are darn near perfect! Both names, especially Samantha, are indicative of the 90's. I might also suggest:Michelle "Mike"
Christina / Kristina "Chris" "Kris"
Erin
Taylor
Jamie
Jordan
Alexis
Gabrielle "Gabe"

Yes, they seem typical enough. You could also use Jessica "Jess"

Alexandra and Samantha (Alex and Sam) seem perfect for twin girls born in the 1990's. I used to know sisters with those names. One of the sisters was born in the late 1980's, but the younger one was born in the 1990's. Combo ideas:
Alexandra Lynn and Samantha Marie
Alexandra Michelle and Samantha Marie
Alexandra Michelle and Samantha Lynn
Alexandra Michelle and Samantha Nicole
Alexandra Nicole and Samantha Michelle
Alexandra Nicole and Samantha Marie
Alexandra Marie and Samantha Nicole
Alexandra Caitlin and Samantha Marie
Alexandra Caitlin and Samantha Lauren
Alexandra Marie and Samantha Caitlin
Alexandra Megan and Samantha Caitlin
Alexandra Megan and Samantha Rachel

Sam and Alex, although they are common nicknames for girls, are completely indicative of boys names if I were to read them from paper.I think they are cool twin names but not androgynous. They are totally feminine spelled out fully and totally masculine in nn form.
