Eh, I make the Oedipus connection immediately. First time I heard the name was reading the plays of Oedipus this past year actually. I don't even like Gertrude due to the reference of Hamlet's mother and she was a complete airhead but at least that name can have other associations. I don't know, I couldn't name my daughter Ophelia as much as I love the name.
