HelpOur Twins Have Arrived!
It's been a while since I've posted here, but I've been rather busy! Our twins arrived July 26th, about two weeks ahead of schedule. Joining big brother George and our little Philomena are Barnaby Hamish Edward and Cecilia Christabel Jessamine. Both are healthy and doing well, and the older two are adjusting wonderfully.
We did not go with the names we had initially chosen, Julien and Cosima. The names
didn't seem to suit them, so under heavy medication and my husband jittery from about 10 cups of coffee, these are what we came up with. I named Barnaby and Christian named Cecilia. Barnaby has a warm, friendly feel to me, and we both love it. Hamish honours my Scottish heritage and "exoticizes" James, which is one of my family names. Edward is one of Christian's many middles. We both love Cecilia and think it works beautifully with the others. Christabel honours Christian and Jessamine honours me, a
Jessica.
Overall, we're completely happy with the names we've chosen, and this forum has been a great inspiration. Thank you all so much!
