I'm actually not opposed to this name on a girl. I think is sounds kinda feminine to begin with. I like the spelling Camryn.

I sort of like it. It's on the good side of average for me. I like Cameron for both, and Camryn if you want to make it look more feminine, but I don't like it with a K.

I strongly dislike it. I much prefer it on a boy.

Cameron goes really well as a brother to Casey, but as a sister, well, I'd assume Casey was the girl and Cameron the boy tbh.

Camryn on a girl is a bit of a gp for me, actually, I just love the nn Cami. But with Casey, I'd avoid it or use it for a boy.

I know lots of male Camerons and yet I prefer it on a girl too! I know of only one little girl with the name and she spells it Kamryn. I don't like that spelling though...

I dislike the name for either sex because I don't like the meaning and it is a surname. I find it far too masculine for a girl and I personally I don't think changing the spelling makes a name look any more feminine.

for me, Cameron only works for a girl when using the nn Cami. but thats probably because I know a girl who does that.

I know two males with the name (Cameron and Kameron), I've seen it on a girl, but I picture a boy when I hear the name. I would honestly think girl/boy sibset with Casey and Cameron. Camilla?

I think she goes great with brother Casey (having the same initial consonant sound is a little unfortunate, but oh well). But Kamryn completely ruins it. It's just not the same name anymore. It looks made up. Maybe if you want a similar look and feel, how about Korinna? It's legit, and I love it.

I don't like Cameron on either gender, honestly. When I hear it, I think boy right away. Changing the spelling doesn't make it more feminine imo, as the sound remains the same (admittedly, there are names that a spelling change does make it look more feminine, though it doesn't sound any differently). Could I sell you on Carmen? It has a similar sound but is decidedly feminine. Casey and Carmen would be a cool sibset.

Cameron is all boy to me, but I don't really like it. I had a friend from high school (a girl) named Camryn. While I wouldn't use Camryn either, I think it ages well. I like that spelling (and pronunciation -- I say it KAM-rin whereas Cameron is KAM-er-in). Camryn doesn't look made-up to me like Kamryn does. That K just reeks of "kre8tyvity" IMO.

I don't like it on either gender really. After having to hear my next door neighbor chew out her son named Cameron for about 2 long years, I just got so sick of it. On a girl it's not as bad I suppose. The Kamryn spelling looks kind of ugly to me though.

I have a male cousin named Cameron, but I can easily see it on a female, too. I don't care for Kamryn, though; I think Camryn is prettier.

I prefer the spelling Cameron, and I love the nn Cam/Cammie, for some reason. I don't see it as exclusively masculine, more as an established unisex name. And yes, I think Kamryn's a bit trendy, but I can see why you might like it; it looks cute and more modern. I actually sort of like the meaning "crooked nose";maybe it's my quirky sense of humor, but it seems to denote character. Anyway, I think it goes well with Casey...I wouldn't worry too much about the name looking feminine, but that's just me.
