Landyn/Landin/Landon
One of my friends really likes the name Landyn for a girl. What do you think of Landyn for girls? Do you prefer the spelling Landyn or Landin? Her cousin on the other hand likes it on boys. What do you think about Landon for a boy?

Landon only, and for a boy only

I strongly dislike it on boys, girls, fish, cats, dogs, ferrets...It's a ridiculous trendy name that spiked massively in popularity after the release of the book and movie versions of 'A Walk to Remember', which was not even good to begin with. ~eyeroll~ This is going to be one of those names that will be hideously dated in time.

In my opinion, Landon can only be for boys. My ex-boyfriend (who's sixteen) and my nephew (who's six) are both named Landon. Very male connotation for me. But if I had to choose, I'd go with Landyn, because people associate the letter Y with girls. :/

I don't like Landon at all, less on a girl, and worse misspelled.

I only like Landon on a boy. I like the combos Landon Raleigh and Landon Carter.

I really like Landon for a boy. In my opinion it is totally masculine sounding. It flows off the tongue easily; its short and sweet!Def no for a wee girl, but between Landin and Landyn, Landyn looks more feminine.I agree with the cousin, its a boys name!

I personally don't care for it on either gender but I prefer it on a boy spelled Landon.
