My name is Caroline and when I was little my mum and sister called me Lina. Now only my mum and twelve year old cousin call me that. I'm ok with them calling me Lina but it feels very wrong if someone else would do it.
I was called Caro in school once or twice as well but I've never used that nickname (and I don't like it) so when I didn't repond to it (I didn't even realise they meant me when they said Caro) they stopped.
