Strictly, Myla should be pronounced "MÜ-la", but I guess you don't know the "ü" sound... It's neither an "ee" nor an "oo" (as in "loose") sound, but somehow the sound that comes out of your mouth when you go from an "ee" to an "oo" sound with your lips. Sounds too difficult LOL.
But I don't think they pronounce the name like that. In
German, there are several exceptions from the "ü" pronounciation of "y", especially when it comes to names and words from foreign languages, so I think they say "Mee-la" or else say it in English all the way.
I think
Charlene is a pretty... awkward name. It's very royal somehow. But I love, love, love
Riva in both English and
German. Myla
Rose is so bland and boring, although it's harmonic. Myla sounds and looks too modern and created to me, but of course,
Rose is pretty. It's just overused.
