I like Emily, hate Louise. Emily is too popular. Actually, I'm not sure how I really feel about Emily, because I never thought about it before it became mega-popular, and then once it did, my perception of it was colored by its popularity. I certainly don't find it objectionable, though. But I'd never use it if for no other reason than its popularity.

I prefer Emerald or Emilia Louise.

It's a little plain but definitely a respectable name.

I dislike both names, immensely.

It's an ok combo, Emily doesn't excite me in the first name slot, though I LOVE it as a middle name, and Louise doesn't excite me in the middle name slot, but I LOVE it as a first name.

Emily is far too common and Louise is filler, usually. There's nothing that stands out to me about this name. Louisa Emmeline would be nice.

It's a little dull. It's not the worst name out there, but it's dull.

I'd like Emily Louisa more I think. It's very nice. Very plain, but quite respectable.
