Can't you just see them? Little dark-haired kids, with non-trendy clothes. No "I'm a Princess" in sparkles for Win.
Make them now!!
I hate those little "I'm a Princess" shirts with glitter. For both children and dogs. I love vintage-y sweaters and corduroys on little kids, they are adorable simply because they don't vomit rainbows and ponies at you.

Albert is okay, but I prefer the similar Alfred.
I love Winifred. It's in my top ten for girls.

I love them both but I don't know if I would have the guts to use them here in the U.S.! They are lovely, underused names though!
They are both very nice, especially together They are more genteel than old-fashioned, sort of like a happy, well-dressed couple having a picnic on a hillside.
I like each of them, though I cannot imagine Albert on a little boy. And with me disliking both Al and Bert as nn, I'd never use it.
I prefer Alvin, Allen, Aaron and Arvin.
Winifred is very nice though, and I can picture it on young and old. A dark blond, fair-skinned, curly haired girl with brown eyes is what I picture.
