My momma was considering this name for me, but I'm glad she didn't go with it. I sort of like the way it sounds, but I really don't like how popular it is now. Once, I met a boy named Madison; I was a bit pleased to see it used in a different way.
As for the combos you shared, I like:
Madison Blythe
Madison Pearl
Madison Talia

I kind of like it too, but it's more of a GP for me. It's too popular and I don't like the meaning.
I don't hold the same amount of venom for Madison as some people might; I've heard far worse names for a girl. And it reminds me of "Splash", which is always a plus.

I just hate this name. I don't have the words to describe how much I hate it. I just so hate it, and it actually makes me angry how popular it is. I feel sorry for all of the little girls out there who have been saddled with this horrid horrid name. My wish is that they all legally change their names once they are old enough to do so. That's how much I hate it. That's how much I don't understand it. That's how much I canNOT understand the thought processes of anyone who gives this name to their newborn girl.
I do hate some other surnames that I have seen bestowed on girls, such as Cameron and Blakely, but none approach the hatred I have for Madison. It is the most unattractive, unfeminine, nonname name that you can give a poor girl. Its meaning is SON of Maud. How more masculine can you get? And who cares about meaning, Claudia means lame, Mara means bitter, yada, yada, yada, yeah, I know. But the SON is right there. It's right there to hear. The meaning is obvious. It's not hidden by being from another language.

Agreed! I used to like it, but now it's so popular that it sickens me. Can't parents give their children somewhat more dignified names that will age well?
And names like "Cameron" and "Ashley" for girls... do they even realize that "Cameron" means "crooked nose" in Gaelic? Plus the corrupted spelling to make the name "unique"! It's just the same damned name in a different spelling!

Well, Leah means "weary" and Claudia means "lame." I don't think you can say Cameron is a worse name just because of the meaning. Lots of good names have bad meanings.
Well, you're right about that. Beulah means "married" (which is making the assumption that she wants to marry), Cecilia means "blind", and Mary means "bitter" (although some believe that it's more along the lines of "bitterly wanted a child"), but for me Cameron will always be a surname. If it's used at all as a given name, it should be strictly masculine, because it just sounds so butch to me. And don't even begin on the nauseatingly trendy offshoots of Cameron, Caitlin, Aidan, Casey, Michaela, and the like.
