Kai is nice, it has a good sound to it. I only like it for a boy though.

I'm not huge on the name River. Probably only because it makes me think of River Phoenix, which, while not a bad association, is just nms. I had never heard of the name Kai until recently, when my sister chose it for her son, due in January. So of course I think Kai is a great name now. :)

Kai is okay, it means sea, so river and sea are kinda cute. but both are immensly popular sadly.
