Isn't it so lovely? It was the name of my pediatrician. Any time I was ill she would say in a thick Russian accent "and plenty, plenty fluids." So anytime I was subsequently sick, my mother would say "PLENTY PLENTY!!!!!!" It was the subject of endless laughter.
I have always liked the name.

It's so ballerina-like. I am a big fan of the movie "The Red Shoes (1948)" though.

I love Irina. It's totally ballerina, and I haven't seen that movie. I consider it sometimes, when I am playing with things that sound like Rena, which was my grandmother's name.
