Re: Eimear (ETA combos)
in reply to a message by Ally
My Irish cousin named her dd Eimear. It's one of my all time favorite Irish names. I adore it. But she pronounces it "EE-mer / EE-mur." Different parts of the courtry pronounce names differently so maybe that accounts for the difference. (She's in the south, in County Tipperary.)ETA:Eimear Siobhan
Eimear Calliope
Eimear Daphne
Eimear Brigid
Eimear Cassandra
Eimear Lilias
Eimear Diana
Eimear Laurentia ("lo-REN-shuh")
Eimear Bronwen
Eimear Fidelma
Eimear Catriona / Cathleen
Eimear Livia
Eimear Sinead
Eimear Angharad ("ahng-HAR-ud")
Eimear Sylvia
Eimear Laetitia / Letitia
Eimear Benedicta
Eimear Silvestra
Eimear Angelica
Eimear Dulcinea
Eimear Caroline
Eimear Nolwenn
Eimear Carys
Eimear Grainne
Eimear Fidelia
Eimear Callista (= the most beautiful Eimear!)
Eimear has such a dreamy quality to it that some of the mns above oddly felt right at home next to her. Do any of them strike your fancy?
