I'm sorry, please do not misspell something just because you like the way two letters look together. Please refer to the A names list for names that are meant to be spelled Ae---- if you like it so much.

Well Aedan is a proper spelling of the name, though the rest aren't

St. Aedan of Ferns is now commonly pronounced (and spelled) as Aidan
There are many churches and schools named after him in the United States and pronounce it this way even if when he was alive they didn't.
Edit: I don't get why people don't like anglicizing names, it's not different than Josephina being pronounced jo-sə-FEEN-ə compared to Josefina pronounced ho-se-FEE-nah. Different cultures change names to fit their language, it's part of just how names spread.
