I love it fo both genders I think it's usable

Normally I don't like literal names, but Lotus is beautiful. Sure it's usable.

I love Lotus for a girl. I definitely think it's usable as a first name.

I think it works. It's not too out there, and I kinda like the tradition ally male -us ending on a feminine name. It's pretty. I say yay.

I feel like it's a mix of Lettuce and Lois. I don't think it's very usable as a first name, maybe a middle name if you can find a good first name that can go with it.

Lotus is a very peaceful sounding word, I just don't think it would go well as a child's name. Perhaps it would work better as a middle name, but definitely on a girl.
