Harrison or Henry?
Please tell me what you prefer. I love both equally however could never use them in the same sib set! Harrison would obviously get shortened to Harry, which is an even bigger reason for not pairing it with Henry.So if you had to choose, which one?? Thanks

I prefer Harrison but I hate the nickname Harry, so I guess Henry gets my vote.

Harrison is one of my favorite names. I want to name my son that one day. But I like the nn Harris more than Harry.Jamy })i({

I'd take Henry. I like it more and Harrison is too surnamey for my taste. I'd avoid putting them together, though, because then you're getting into potentially tacky territory if you're in the US (think former president William Henry Harrison). If not, it could go unnoticed.Offhand I can think of two Harrisons that I know and neither gets shortened to Harry, by the way.

Samantha: I can't even be around that man. He's dangerous and toxic.
Carrie: So he's manthrax?

I like just Harry.I'm not so keen on Harrison though. If it had to be a choice of Harrison or Henry I'd then go with Henry.

Well, Harrison is too Harrison Ford for me--but Henry is the loser in "Suffragette City." So I'm not a huge fan of either.I suppose I like Henry more, but only because Henry can be called Hank, a nickname I love. Overall, I totally prefer Harold, though. :DArray

We'll ride through the city tonight

I like Henry better than Harrison. I'm not a fan of Harry and I think Henry is a really cute name but it doesn't get used very often! :)

Harrison gets my vote, although I'm not big on "son" names. I love Henry but it's so generic, so only middle name material to me._____________________________________________________________________Elinor'Why do people with closed minds, always open their mouths?'

I love Henry. Harrison is nice, and so is just Harry on its own but I much prefer Henry.
