Celebrity twins (SJP)
The latest additions to the Parker-Broderick family have arrived! Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick’s surrogate delivered twin girls — Marion Loretta Elwell Broderick and Tabitha Hodge Broderick on Monday, June 22nd in Ohio. Big brother is James Wilkie.James is after Matthew's father and Wilkie is after the author Wilkie Collins, so maybe the girls have honoring names also? And to answer my own question:Both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Sarah Jessica’s side. Do you think Marion and Tabitha will become more popular now? I know Eden and Savannah became more common after Marcia Cross used them for her twins.
In 2008 Tabitha was #589. The last time Marion charted in the top 1000 was in 1988 at #955 for girls and in 2003 at #997 for boys.Source: people.com

I like these names...I think they might go up in popularity. Nevaeh did because of a celebrity parent (that was an unfortunate case, since I think Nevaeh is such a demonic name, being Heaven spelled backwards).

They aren't horrible, and at least it's not the usual celebrity monstruosity, but I'm not terribly keen on either name. They seem a bit "off" together.I suppose there's a chance they might become more popular, though it's not like Eden and Savannah skyrocketed because of Marica Cross's babies.

MSN reportsThat it is just Loretta Elwell...not Marion Loretta Elwell. However, I would much prefer if it was Marion. I think it is much more palatable than Loretta. Loretta is just a bit too hick for me. Tabitha Hodge is nice though (even though I prefer the spelling Tabatha).

People magazineI believe that People magazine is more reliable and they presumably got a written statement from the rep, so they should know what it is. It's still Marion everywhere else today.

I'm not surprised by this when big brother is James. Nice set overall. I prefer Tabitha to Marion.

I like Marion Loretta. Tabitha is horrid, for some reason it remind me of a cat. not sure why.

Love Tabitha but don't like Marion. For some reason this spelling sets my teeth on edge - I can tolerate Marian. And I really like Marianne - go figure.

I like Tabatha more than Tabitha. I don't love the names though.

I like Tabitha and Marion, but I don't like their middle names

I like Tabitha, but not Marion. Loretta is alright.

Marion is ok but Tabitha does nothing for me. I adore James.

Marion seems more masculine to me. For a girl I think Marian makes it look more feminine, even though I know they're both unisex. I dislike Tabitha and I don't think it fits in the sibset at all. And I find it odd that they gave only one twin two middle names.I wouldn't at all be surprised it Marion became more popular. It seems like a name that could. Tabitha probably seems too dated still.

Love Tabitha, dislike MarionIt is really silly but it makes me think of John Wayne who I really don't appreciate.

Eww...I hate all the names. Except for James.

I'm not a fan of either name (adore James however), but I like that they're normal, not celebrity tryndee names (Bronx anyone?). The only things I don't get is why Marion has a middle name and a family last name, while Tabitha only has a family last name (and the worst one at that).

Dislike both names!

Why is it that celebrities always, always steal my names? I've always loved Tabitha ever since I heard it on the show Bewitched when I was little.I like Marion, too, but it's not one of my favorites.

Quite cuteI don't particularly love either name but it is nice to see both Marion and Tabitha used and I believe all the mns are family names so that's nice.
