I love Paul and all its feminine versions. Pauline is lovely in look and sound but Paulina is probably fresher today.

I much prefer Paulina.

Timeless, no imo, dated, yes imo, ready for a comeback I mean I dont really understand this when people ask because I wouldnt a name that I like to become popular and "comeback" full force lol. Pauline would be refreshing to answer that. Pauline Marie I like from your list.

I cannot stand Paul so I can't warm up to this (m).It is a name you'd rarely see on a younger child these days so I give it the fresh factor.I just find Paul one of the coldest almost sterile names around. I'm not sure why it has that affect on me.Polly as a nickname would almost sell me on it :)

I'm sorry you feel that away about Paul! The name has served me well thus far. :D

That's nice :)Doesn't help me though ;)My real name gets the rough treatment all the time. Doesn't bother me one bit.

I know how you feel. Not too long ago someone replied to a post by (in part) rhapsodizing about how much she hated my name.

Yeah, it happens.

Agree, but ...Paulina could sell me on the name. That one syllable makes all the difference to me. ;-)I want to like Paul. I love Paolo but Paul just reminds me of paw. Weird, I know.

Lol!I have similar things myself with names. Really minor and perhaps quite strange associations. I don't think I will ever get over my Paul negativity and unfortunately the feminine forms are sullied for me too. Perhaps with the exception of Paulette. I can always get behind a cute -ette name.

It's all right. I love Pauline Mathilde.

Love it. Classic & timeless in my opinion.

I don't see it being ripe for comeback for a few years yet. It has been growing on me a lot lately, though. I would even use it if there was a Paul I wanted to honor. I absolutely love the nickname Polly, too!

I like it more than Paula, less than Paulina. The Paul family is a handful of names that I havn't quite gotten into yet, although I suspect there may come a time when I appreciate them more. I like you liking Pauline, though. :-)Pauline Marie is very pretty and I find Pauline Mathilde quite striking. I'm not a big fan of the other combos, though; Grace is a tad too boring as a middle name for me (But not Marie? Who knows why.) and I've never cared for Oceane. The more I look at it, the more I like Pauline as part of a combo than I do hearing it on its own. For me it might make a better contender as the second of a two-part first name, like Marie Pauline.

Pauline's lovely; unfortunately, my name's Paul, and I resent very obvious honoring.

It's okay. I like it more than Paula, which isn't feminine enough, and Paulette, which is TOO feminine. It does seem kind of dated to me. I had a great-aunt named Pauline, who, if she were still alive, would be over one hundred years old now. Maybe that's why it seems dated to me. I don't think it's going to make a big comeback.

Pauline Océane! Oh, so so gorgeous. Pauline actually isn't so pretty to my ears, but that combo is amazing. Pauline Mathilde is also lovely. I think Pauline could totally be ready for a comeback, even though I don't like it all that much. :)

Super charming. I don't have any timeless-dated-comeback impressions of it; I just think it's completely adorable and sweet.I like Pauline Mathilde.I have a hard time with combos for it. Maybe:Pauline Ylva
Pauline Alice
Pauline Esmeralda
Pauline Fern
Pauline Eseld
Pauline Hannah
Pauline Eleanor
Pauline Wendyman. hard.
