Eleanor
I am very excited! My husband said "maybe" to Eleanor. Yay! He used to be firmly against the name. Progress, progress! So, Avery and Eleanor as sisters? I know I have asked this before but I am a bit hung up with the whole "match" thing. Also, Eleanor combos. I would like to use a family name as the middle name.WDYTO...
Eleanor Charlotte
Eleanor Belle
Eleanor Josephine
Eleanor Louisa
Eleanor Eva
Eleanor Maisie (Maisie may be a stretch)Suggestions?

I love Eleanor and all your combos, too. I'm not sure what you mean by Eleanor Maisie being a stretch. I like it.

I do think Blair would make a better sister name for Avery. Have you consider Blair Eleanor?

OHHHHHH! I love it! Thank you.

Eleanor is ok. Its not my favorite of the revived classics, but I appreciate its usage on other people. I must say, however, that Avery (girl) and Eleanor make an odd pair. Avery is very modern and trendy while Eleanor is rather old fashioned (not in a bad way) and more classic. I really cannot see the two in the same family, but maybe that's just me.

I think Eleanor is sweet. Eleanor Josephine is your best combo.

I love Eleanor! I wouldn't worry too much about matching the names. My sister's name and mine aren't the same style. She's Beth, and I'm Kristin. Out of your combos, I really like Eleanor Charlotte, Eleanor Josephine, and Eleanor Maisie.

I LOVE Eleanor! Eleanor Josephine is gorgeous and classic

I love Eleanor! I really hope to use it for my own daughter someday :). I think Avery and Eleanor work fine, especially if you use a nickname for Eleanor (Elle, Ellie, Nora, Nellie). My favorite combo is Eleanor Josephine, which I've actually thought about using. Hopefully your husband's "maybe" turns into a "yes".

Eleanor is a very different style than Avery, but I see no issues with the two in a sibset. Eleanor is a gorgeous name. Of your combos I like Eleanor Belle (soooo pretty!) and Eleanor Louisa best.

I like Eleanor, but Avery is purely masculine to me. As brother and sister I would like them together.Eleanor Charlotte and Eleanor Josephine are nice.Eleanor Catherine
Eleanor Maren
Eleanor Phoebe
Eleanor Caroline

Avery and Eleanor don't sound like sisters. I'd be more inclined to think that Avery was a boy in this case, but if matching isn't too much of an issue, I say go for it. Eleanor is a beautiful name.Out of your combos, I like Eleanor Josephine and Eleanor Charlotte the best.More ideas (hopefully at least one of these will also honor a relative of yours somehow):
Eleanor Sophia
Eleanor Joanna
Eleanor Maeve
Eleanor May / Mae - I prefer May / Mae to Maisie.
Eleanor Simone
Eleanor Susannah
Eleanor Katherine / Catherine
Eleanor Claire
Eleanor Camille
Eleanor Vivian / Vivien / Vivienne
Eleanor Violet
Eleanor Madeline / Madeleine

I actually think Eleanor and Avery work fine together... and I don't think a first child ever establishes the style for the set... unless it's like Naveighaa or something. Then you definitely can't use Eleanor... or anything else that's spelled properly.
I like:
Avery Virginia and Eleanor Charlotte
Avery Virginia and Eleanor Josephine

Congratulations on "winning" that name! ;-)
I don't really like Avery, and it seems trendy compared with Eleanor. I'd also asume Avery is a boy with such a feminine name beside it.
But Eleanor is nice and of your combos I like most.
I don't like it with Belle, as it sounds better with a two sylable mn (Josephine and Louisa are fine, but I prefer Louise to Louisa with Eleanor).
Maisie is a personal favourite of mine, although I don't know if I could use it in the fn slot, but it works great here. And although I normaly don't like alliterations, Eleanor Eva is fantastic! My favourite ot of your combos here.

Eleanor and Avery sound great together. I love Eleanor Belle, Eleanor Josephine, and Eleanor Maisie. What about Eleanor Rose, Eleanor Elizabeth, or Eleanor Beth(any)? Also, you could try Eleanora. I think Eleanora and Avery is a cute combo.BTW, what does Eleanor actually mean? I keep coming up w/ different meanings.

I was afraid that Avery and Eleanor would clash a bit too much. My first impression is that they do not flow well. Darn! I knew when I agreed to Avery (my husband loved it and picked it) that I would be limiting myself to that style of names (the same if we would have gone with Eleanor the first time around).Looks like we will have to stick with Blair in the future for another daughter. I do like Blair. Just am missing the "girly" naming.

I love Eleanor; however, I dislike it as a sister to Avery...Eleanor Josephine and Eleanor Maisie delight me.

I love Eleanor, but Avery and Eleanor clash just a little too much for sisters for my liking.Still... It would be a shame not to use such a great name if given the opportunity. :)Eleanor Josephine is one of my favorite Eleanor combos. Love it!I also like Eleanor Charlotte and Eleanor Maisie.

I absolutely LOVE Eleanor. It's in my top 3 for girls.
Since Charlotte is also in my top 3, I'd never use the combo Eleanor Charlotte, but would probably use the combos Eleanor Frances and Charlotte Sophia if I had daughters.
I love Eleanor Josephine. Josephine is such a beautiful name...it's somewhere in my top 10 for girls.
I like Eleanor Maisie. Actually flows better than Eleanor Margaret.
Eleanor Louisa is okay, but I prefer Eleanor Louise.
Eleanor Belle and Eleanor Eva don't flow at all. Belle should be short for something...like Arabella, Belladonna, Bellatrix, Clarabella.
Yeah, I'd say Eleanor Frances are good, so are Eleanor Elizabeth, Eleanor Beatrice, Eleanor Beatrice Martha, something elegant.
Avery's okay. It's a lot better than Ashley or Madison. I think you could pull Avery and Eleanor off as sisters. A modern and traditional. It works. Again, it works a lot better than Eleanor and Ashley or Madison. Avery sounds more like a family name, anyway, even if it isn't.
