Eilidh
I discovered this name a few days ago and I really like it. I love the sound and spelling much more than Ailie or Aylee or however you would spell it. What do you think?

I love that spelling (Eilidh) could be confusing to how to say it though
It's wonderful although..
I hate that so many people read it as "eyelid". It's to be expected I suppose.
I love Scottish names but sometimes it annoys me that this one is just a Scots Gaelic 'dressing' of Ellie although I see it's connected with Helen too. Also the similarity to the dreadful Hayley and Kayley annoys me.

I really like it. It's popular in Scotland, though, so I wouldn't use it.
It's alright. It looks really pretty, but sounds like someone with a Cockney accent saying Haley. I don't really like the sound of it.
I love it!
I may be a little biased though. It's very popular in Scotland, and is the name of one of my closest friends, my cousin and my best friend's little girl.
My best friend moved to Illinois 3 years ago (her husband is from there) and as far as I know, there have been no real problems with pronunciation or spelling of Eilidh's name.
