I love Jem as a nn for Jeremy ... Or Jeremiah for that matter :-)_____________________________________________________________________Elinor'Why do people with closed minds, always open their mouths?'

Well I had a little boy named Jeremy who used to live next door to me. Every day he came over with his continual runny nose (he had allergies) and would peer into my glass slider window and get boogies all over it. I always called him Germy because of this. But seriously I don't think Jeremy needs a nn but maybe Remy.

I like J, Rem, and Remy for nicknames. You could also go with Jem, but it sounds feminine to me.

I doubt this helps, but I used to have a boyfriend a few years back who I called Jer-Bear! hehehe (his name was Jeremy) I also knew someone name Jeremiah, and they called him Miah for short. It seems a little feminine, but he was a super-masculine sports star type, and also had a wonderful personality. To my knowlege, he never got any flack concerning his name. I like it... Miah. :)

Those all work. I thought of Jer, but maybe that's too close to Jerry."No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

The only nickname I've heard for Jeremy aside from Jerry has been Jem. Jeremy "Jem" Finch in To Kill a Mockingbird is one example that comes to mind. I don't really see Jeremy as needing a nickname (it's my boyfriend's name, I've never heard anyone ever call him anything else) but I think Jem has more charm than any other conceiveable alternative. As an aside, I'd ditch the idea of Remy as a possibility entirely because it's not connected to Jeremy at all.

My brother is named Jeremy and doesn't use a nickname.I've heard Jem and Jez before as nicknames for Jeremy & Jeremiah before though.
