Jerome and Tobit.
I'm curious as to what people think of the name Tobit. I've always loved Tobias but my fiance prefers Tobit. I'm not that sure about it but it's been growing on me.And what would you pair with Jerome? I'm not interested in hearing reactions - in the past it's always been that the name is "black" to them. I don't really care about that.

I don't think of Jerome as a black name. I think of it as a white middle-aged square kind of name. If by pairing you mean, who would make a good brother or sister for Jerome, I'd chooseEarl
Frank
Arthur
Stanley
Gladys
Della
Edith
Lou
BettyI prefer Tobias to Tobit. Tobit reminds me of two-bit.

Tobit sounds awkward to my ears. For some reason it really reminds me of the word "phobic" too. Tobias is worlds better, imo. Tobit looks like a Latin third person present tense verb form. Jerome, however, is very nice. I prefer Jeremy, but this is good too. Jerome Conrad
Jerome Edgar
Jerome Wesley
Jerome Ambrose
Jerome August
Jerome Darcy
Jerome Dimitri
Jerome Elias

I like Jerome Falk. However, his second middle name would have that as its' second syllable. Nice job, though, with Ambrose and Edgard - both are top favorites of X's. (Ambrose Bierce/Poe)

I'm not really a fan of Tobias, but I like it more than Tobit, because Tobit is difficult for me to say. I personally prefer the name Tobin. If you like that perhaps you could talk to X about it.I really like Jerome, and don't really follow the "black" thing, that's quite odd. anywayJerome Bradley

I don't like Tobit, I immediatley think "hobbit". I much prefer Tobias, which I like quite a bit. I think Jerome is a nice name. I guess it depends on where you're from but I see Jerome first and foremost as a French name. (I like the Jérôme spelling a lot)Some suggestions:
Jerome Alexander
Jerome Kirk
Jerome Lewis
Jerome William
Jerome Lucas
Jerome Amadeus
Jerome Wilhelm
Jerome Sorley
