Annabelle
I'm starting to really like the name Annabelle. My grandmother made me a doll when I was little and named her Annabelle, so It has always been a nice name for me. Do you like it spelled Annabelle or Annabel?

I love the name Annabel spelled like that. If I have a daughter one day I hope to name her it.
Annabel -
Annabel is my brother's nn for me so I'm biased. But I find it charming and perky.
My brother never spelled it out. I prefer the Annabel spelling because of the Edgar Allen Poe poem, Annabel Lee. ("But the moon never beams, without bringing me dreams, of my beautiful Annabel Lee." Or something like that.)

I love Annabelle. Annabelle is my favourite spelling but for the longest time I loved Annabel. It's interesting that you named your doll Annabelle, because there's a doll out now called Baby Annabell. I'm pretty sure Annabell is the spelling used. That's probably the first thing I think of when I hear the name.
Annabelle
Annabel
yup.
yup.
I've just begun liking Annabelle too! I think it's adorable. I like both Annabelle and Annabel. Annabel is the one on my PNL because for the moment I was feeling less frilly. But right now I'm thinking I like Annabelle better. It's cool that Annabelle has personal significance for you too.
Annabel used to be one of my favorites. I still like it, but not as much as I used to. It always makes me think of a little girl, though. I can't really picture an adult named Annabel. I like the possible nickname of Belle, but hate how you could call her Anna or Annie. I know an Annabelle who ALWAYS get called Anna and I think that's just boring. On the other hand if she felt her name was too sweet or childish she could go by Anna or Belle.
I like Annabel but Annabelle is fine. I prefer Isabelle over Isabel because it leads more directly to the nickname Belle, but Annabelle looks too frilly to me so I prefer Annabel. The only one I really can't stand is Annabell and I dislike Anabell as well. They look unbalanced. I know siblings named Annabell and Isabell as well. We always joked that a sister could be named Clarabell.
The good things about the name (in my opinion):
- the possibly nickname of Belle
- it sounds sweet and pretty, looks nice written down
- used in literature (Annabel Lee) (poem)
The bad things about the name (in my opinion):
- I think it's getting popular I'm pretty sure -Belle/a names will be really out of fashion in a couple of years due to Isabella and Isabel being so common and it will also leave Annabel feeling dated.
- there are way too many ways to spell it
- the nicknames Anna and Annie
- maybe too sweet for an adult

Annabelle. It's nice. I like the shorter versions - Anna, Annie, Belle
I really like it spelled Annabel - Annabelle is a little OTT for me. But it's a very pretty name, either way. :)
I like it! I prefer the spelling Annabel.
