Alisa/Elisa
Which do you prefer? Is the NN Allie, Ellie, or Lisa more appealing to you? Thanks in advance.

I prefer Alisa because it's a complete name (Russian form of Alice) while Elisa is the short form of Elisabeth. I just prefer formal names.Of the nns, I prefer Ellie.

Elisa although I'd prefer Ailsa over both

I much prefer Elisa (preferably as a nickname for Elisabeth). I don't think it needs a nickname, but Ellie is cute.

I prefer Elisa, though I like a lot of Al- names for girls. I love Aliza, but Alisa for some reason looks made up to me.

I looked Alisa up; it's actually a Russian version of Alice. So it IS real.I like a lot of Al-names for girls because my grandfather, who I'm very close to, is named Albert. That's what drew me to the Al-spelling. :)

I'm aware it's legit, that's why I was saying that it *looks* made up to me. I'm also aware it's odd I like Aliza but not Alisa, but can't pinpoint why.

Allie is too popoular, Ellie is too old, and Lisa is too grown-upish for a little . Call her what you name her in my opinion.

Well, I would still call her Alisa/Elisa. In my family, nicknames are playfully used, not taken seriously.

Oh, well in that case, Ellie, or Ella. Not Allie.
