I pronounce it He-len-uh. I prefer it pronounced like that. It is very nice.
I don't really like the names Helena and Helen but Helena is the nicer of the two. I pronounce it HEL-en-uh because the only Helena I know pronounces it that way.

I like Helena as much as I dislike Helen. It looks complete to me, more feminine with less of an emphasis on the 'hel' part of the name. I slightly prefer HEL-en-a but most of the ones I've known (not that many) pronounced it he-LAY-na.
