I really like Verena, pronounced veh-ree-nuh.
It's an underappreciated name, for sure.
(My mom has a cousin named Verena. :) )

I know someone with this name, and she pronounces it ver-EE-nuh.
I don't particularily care for her, and that reflects on my feelings for the name. I sorta like Verona though...

I love it. I have a weakness for girls' names that begin with a V, although there are a few that I don't like. I'd pronounce it Veh-REE-nah. I think it was the name of Jefferson Davis' wife. It has a nineteenth century flavor for me.
I have only heard it pronounced one way (veh RAY nah) ...it was a character on television. I like the sound of it with the RAY in the middle. Of your two pronunciations. I like veh REE nah best
I like the name. Seems sweet and innocent, but like it would age well too.
Verena Philomene
Verena Marlo
Verena Oceane
Verena Bliss
Verena Charmaine
Verena Dorothy
Verena Evelyn
Verena Hyacinth
Verena Ivy
Verena Jacinthe
