Re: Eulalie
in reply to a message by Ailis
Reminds me of the word 'echolalia' (which I love the sound of, but the meaning isn't so good), and also a character from 'The Neverending Story' (but I can't think of the character's actual name right now). I like it, although I like Eulalia much more. Eulalie feels like it ends on the wrong note somehow. I love the nn Lala though, so cute (are you worried about the teletubby? Or that 'lala' can mean 'crazy?' I don't think either one is really a problem.)
I think it has an awesome meaning too.
Question: How are you pronouncing it? The BtN profile has it as you-LAY-lee, but I'd say you-LAH-lee (or maybe oh-lah-LEE if you're going for the French prn).BTW, I love your sig, makes me smile every time!

I say you-LAH-lee - I'm not sure what the French pronunciation sounds like. I'll have to ask my French teacher how to say "Euro" in French and work the pronunciation from there. (Asking how to say "Eulalie" might sound a bit random.) Eulalia is too long-winded for me.
